Why I think this fits the brief…
The coin tray is made of leather and measures approx. 12 x 12cms which makes it perfect for keys/coins or what I suggest – jewellery! Made by hand here in Perth, this is a truly ‘different’ gift – very memorable and perfect for a birthday. To make it extra special, I’d like to arrange for it to be hand stamped with Alana’s initials.
Of course, a tray isn’t useful unless it has something to hold! I have searched locally for a pair of earrings that I think will fit this brief well.
Aptly named “Simple Cream Dreams” these earrings are approx 5cm in height and made of polymer clay with surgical steel backs. Made by hand in Perth, the earrings may vary slightly in colour and pattern to this photo. What I like about this maker is that 10% of all sales is donated to cancer research, in memory of her sister, who started the business with her. So the intention is beautiful and warming.
I believe both elements work well with Alana’s styling preferences as per the brief and your note about her liking material things. In a very neutral, classic, fashionable way.
