A bit about me
Hello!
I’m Aimee, Founder, Gift Concierge and Chief Happiness Curator here at Inspired Surprises.
Since I can remember, I’ve loved coming up with ideas to help people feel special. It wasn’t necessarily about milestones or hallmark celebrations, but about bringing them delight, being grateful for their presence in my life and making them feel warm and fuzzy. It was in curating these moments that I felt sparkly inside.
However, life is a journey and I needed to go on my very own expedition to work out what I could do to keep feeling sparkly. I spent over 10 years in the 9-5 hustle, working in a number of different roles for both the private and not for profit sector – including product development, fundraising and event coordination. But, it didn’t matter where I was, in the back of my mind something kept brewing, I looked to it whilst blissfully daydreaming… just waiting for that ‘one day’.
Along the way, I have learnt many lessons and one that keeps popping up is how short life is, and how important it is to do my best to make my dreams a reality. So let’s fast forward through a huge amount of hard work, a steep learning curve and a courageous leap…*drumroll please* here it is… Inspired Surprises.
Inspired Surprises fuses my love of making people feel warm and fuzzy, with a passion for supporting local business, to create a beautiful remedy that I believe, will make the world a happier place.

- My favourite place is Western Australia’s South West (especially if it involves a winery)
- Proud dog Mumma to rescue dog, Lola
- Bonus fact: Lola is my first employee – she is Head of Work Life Balance, Premises Security and Cuddles
- Life is good with quality chocolate (dairy free please) and delicious wine
- My other dream is to meet Ellen DeGeneres, she is my hero “ Hi Ellen!” – if you’re reading.
